Jet2.com Abbey Dash Results!

1000's of runners braved a cool morning on Sunday to assist ensure seniors are stored warm this winter. An archive 7,380 participants pounded the Leeds streets for that 2012 Abbey Dash.

The big event, backed by Jet2.com was raising cash for Age UK’s Spread The Heat campaign and it is befriending service.

Under blue skies, the greatest-ever area of runners streamed with the begin a crisp fall morning to tackle the infamously fast course.

Carrying out a mass warm-in Victoria Gardens, participants headed lower Kirkstall Road, to Kirkstall Abbey after which to finish around the Headrow outdoors Leeds Town Hall.

A group of 21 employees from Jet2.com took part in the race to assist raise cash for that cause. Jet2.com’s Controlling Director Ian Doubtfire stated: “Our team of 21 come from across the organization, including cabin crew, aircraft pilots and hq staff.

“We clearly feel a part of Yorkshire so desired to support Yorkshire non profit organizations and Age United kingdom is a vital cause from our area. Staff happen to be baking cakes and selling them at work to boost more income for that cause.”
